Meh, the new allroads pail in comparison though. Its just an A4 avant with fender flares, a 2.slow motor and a lift kit. weak... they do look good, but again they fail to perform.

I’m not a huge fan either, but I know he is so I figured I would share. They had an RS5 there and that was what got my interest.

Yea my biggest upset was the lack of motor options, and the fact that they went to the smaller chassis. Wish they stayed with the A6 as a base (no surprise but only europe gets the A6 allroad), you could have gotten it fitted with the 3.0t! well worth it too. Oh well.

Understandable. Europe always gets the cool things and we get crap.

An upgrade diverter valve, computer tune and exhaust would likely be enough to make that tolerable. Just make sure it doesn’t have any of the common 2.0 intake carbon issues or oil consumption otherwise you would need an extended warranty.

^ One of the main reasons I’m not as attracted to the new one. The first gen Allroad was a truly innovative car, lots of fun new features that set it apart from the rest of the Audi lineup at the time. Especially the adjustable air suspension.

Now it’s basically just the A4 Avant+More Plastic. That being said, I still like them a lot.
